He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hazel (Young) and Claude Eldred Carpenter; and his sons, Jeff Carpenter and Glen Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Edler; his son Greg Carpenter (Chasitie) of Blanchard; his daughter-in-law Shelly Carver of Elk City; his grandsons, Brandon Carpenter and CJ Estes; his sister Jan Phillips of Clinton; and his pets, Phoebe and Mika.
