Marilyn Long Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Long of Elk City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Bud" Mapes and Erma Mapes; her husband Bob; her siblings, Ladonna Barr and Alvin Ray Mapes; and her in-laws, Jim, Annabelle Smith, Leo and Juanita Long.
She is survived by: her children, Aaron Christopher of Elk City, Oklahoma, Angie of Elk City, Oklahoma, Joey Bales of Elk City, Oklahoma and Jamie Long of Elk City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Robyn Bales, Matt Bales (Mia), Aden Long and Madilynn Long; and her brother-in-law Jim Barr (James D. Smith) of Conway. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
