It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Eugene Payne of Elk City, Oklahoma, born in Hinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Payne and Mary Payne. He is survived by : his daughters, Patricia Allen (Kenneth) of Chickasha and Prisilla Jones (Steve) of Marlow; and his grandchildren, Chris, Jeffry, Shannon and Ethan. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
