He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah; his parents, Calvin Nevels and Delores Nevels; and his sister Shirley Jones. He is survived by: his children, Sam Nevels (Keara) of Memphis, Michael "Mikey" Nevels (Devon) of Carter, Sumer Dupree (Darren) of Elk City, Tisha Thomas (Geoffrey) of Weatherford, Jackie Davidson (Tracy) of Monument, Tracy Goodson (Gene) of Fairview and Vickie Frantz of Oklahoma City; his siblings, James Nevels (Nancy) of Hartshorne and Theresa Maderer of Idabel; his significant other Teresa Frantz of Elk City; and his friend Peter Gee.
