He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Oaks and Marguerite Oaks (Davis); his wife Joyce Laverne Oaks; his brother Lanny Oaks; his uncle Clarence Oaks; his aunt Thelma Phillips (Orville Phillips); his cousins, Phil Oaks and Jason Oaks; and his son-in-law Danny Davis.
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce LaVerne Twyman; his daughters, Sherry Davis of Elk City and Beth Oaks of Elk City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Sara Alsup (Bobby) of Stillwater, Morgan Little (Jay) of Canute and Riley Branham (Kade Gracia) of Elk City, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Marli Alsup of Stillwater, Miles Alsup of Stillwater, Mosi Alsup of Stillwater, Jenifer Little of Canute, Jaylie Little of Canute, Henlie Little of Canute and Bode Gracia of Elk City.
