With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Karpe (Enid, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on May 16, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Wingo and Jefferson Wingo; her adoptive mother Vita (Walter Thomas); and her son Robin Karpe. She is survived by: her husband Gary Karpe; her son Kevin Karpe of Edmond; her grandchildren, Maggie Klumpp (Austin), Heidi, Kyler, Kalvin of Ponca City and Kyle Karpe (Meagan) of Bixby; her nephews, Jason and Johnny Sanders; and her niece Mindy Holcomb.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ladusau Evans Funeral Home (2800 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Enid continuing Alice's lifelong commitment to kindness and her community.
