It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Atkinson (Enid, Oklahoma), who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Richert and Sophina Richert; her husband Bobby "Bob" Joe Atkinson; her stepmother Velma Richert; and her siblings, Obera Jean Bergdall and Roger Dean Richert.

She is survived by: her sons, Lance Atkinson (Melissa) and Garry Atkinson (Deanna). She is also survived by three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy House or Loaves and Fishes, both of Enid.
