The passing of Colleen D. Day (Enid, Oklahoma) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Anson and Marion Anson; her siblings, Don Chambers and Myrtle Dimick; her husband Virgil Day; her grandson Brandon Gammon; and her great grandchild Kacyn Brooksher.
She is survived by: her son Michael Wayne (Denita) of Tuttle; her siblings, Ben Anson (Beverly), Donna Shuey of Washington State and Nora Mae Christiansen of Washington State; her children, Pamela Tomberlin (Mike) of Florence, Brent Walker (Jennifer) of Florida and Penny Lewis (Terry) of Claremore, Oklahoma.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Tomberlin, Jillian Bingham, Jordann Whittington, Joseph, Jonathan Tomberlin, Myriah Day, Aubrey Alcorn, Stephen, Sean Rich, Cory Benson, Darrin Combs, Justin Gammon, Jared Lewis, Brett Brooksher, Holly Lewis, Colten Brooksher and Rose Lewis. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson Burris Funeral Home & Crematory (3002 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel (3002 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dawes Cemetery (21895 E Dawes Cemetery Rd, Chelsea, OK 74016).
