We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2026, at the age of 61, DeWayne Allen Schapansky (Enid, Oklahoma), born in Clinton, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Orville Schapansky; and his stepfather Carl E. Rose. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Schapansky (Tallant) of Tulsa; his wife Sandy Schapansky of Lahoma; his children, Kayla Schapansky (Jason Weber), Casey Schapansky of Enid, Robin Burnham and Taylor Burnham of Lahoma; his sisters, Sherri Cooper (Dennis) of Tulsa and Crystal Rose of Tulsa; and his grandchildren, Emma, Izzy, Rhyan, Koldyn, Gauge, Jerrett and Paxton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Boy Scouts of American, or EJRT with the memo Baseball Scholarship with the funeral home acting as custodian.
