He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wright Sr. and Ruth Wright (Calhoun); and his daughter Debra Lyn. He is survived by: his wife Alice Mattie McGinnis; and his children, James Alan, Leslie Eugene and Gary Evan. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bible Baptist Church (309 N 11th St, Enid, OK 73701). A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
