We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 86, Jerry Long (Enid, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Long and Ada L. Long (Taylor); and his brother-in-law John Simunek. He is survived by: his former spouse Robin Parrish; his stepchildren, Jeff and Lauren; his wife Shari Clark; his children, Mike Long and Marti Long; his stepson Nathan Parrish (Jamie); his grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Jack, Addi and Cassie; his stepchild Ryley Parrish (Meribeth); his grandchildren, Kaiya, Sadie, Samara, Jeff Clark (Shannon), Kyler, Hayden, Austin, Maddie, Lauren Simpson (Jim), Addison and Mia; his sister Arlene Simunek; and his sibling's children, Scott Simunek (Babby), James (Carri) and Stephanie Willis (Ron).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home (2800 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church (2418 W Randolph Ave, Enid, OK 73703). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
Memorials contributions in Jerry's name may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or the Enid High Basketball and Baseball programs with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
