He is survived by: his son Jeremy Lynn Melott; his brothers, Larry Melott and Dale Melott; his children, Scott Melott (Jessica), Kristi Strunk (Troy) and Josh Melott; his grandchildren, Dustin Wasson, Katie Gailey, Evie Jo Melott, Lucy Melott, Bonnie Melott, Lilly Melott, Saroja Melott, Josh Melott, Hannah Cunningham and Aurora Melott; and his great grandchildren, Patrick Wasson, Mackenzie Gailey and Maisy Gailey.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
