He was predeceased by : his parents, AB Tidwell and Leona Tidwell; and his sister Glenda Smith. He is survived by : his wife Barbara "Bobbie" McGowen Tidwell of Enid; his daughter Juree Brittain (Justin) of Enid; his grandchildren, Bretta Gillaspy (Jim) of Enid, Bret Gillaspy (Ronnie) of Enid and Kelcee Algiere (Tyler) of Deland Florida; his great grandchildren, Lillee, Knox Gillaspy, Ryker, Presley and Coral Algiere; and his sisters, Patricia Ward of Idabel and Carol Davis (Ted) of Oklahoma City.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Family Chapel (3 NE 3rd St, Idabel, OK 74745). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
