It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Schmidt of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Elmer, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Marlin and Murl Marlin (Clinkscale); her husband J. G. Schmidt; her siblings, Charse Renfro, Barbara Smith and Ray Marlin; and her siblings-in-law, James Holt, Dwayne Long, Kenneth Renfro and Norma Marlin.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike Schmidt (Jonna) of Sharon and Mickey Schmidt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.; her granddaughters, Kristen Walters (Todd) of Mooreland, Kara Schmidt of Sharon and Katelyn Hinds (Ethan) of Woodward; and her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Ayzlen and Anistyn Walters. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
