He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph, Sr. Mitten and Rosa Mitten (Herth); his wife Suzie Waltz Mitten; and his sisters, Ruth Helberg, Patricia McMahan and Dorothy Coppock.
He is survived by: his brother Wayne; his son Raymond Mitten; his daughter-in-law Shweta Anna Mitten; his grandsons, Aiden and Aanik Mitten; his daughter Katherine Miles; and his sisters, Kathy Austin and Lovella Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
