He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Joseph Belanger (Roger Simmons); his brother Micky Lee Belanger; and his nephew Joshua Weatherly. He is survived by: his mother Karen Lee Belanger (Bayliff) of Oklahoma City; his siblings, Jack Belanger (Barbara) of Yukon, Oklahoma and Robin Cardiel (Paco) of Oklahoma City; his nieces, Natasha Weatherly (Charity) of Moore and Jennifer Cherry of Oklahoma City; and his nephew Matthew McComb of Oklahoma City.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Enid SPCA with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
