We bid farewell to Laura Choate of Enid, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2026 at the age of 79. Laura touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Scott and Betty Ann Williams (Crawford); her son Steven Choate (Bill Choate); her nephew Kenneth Johnson; and her brother-in-law Ralph Reed.
She is survived by: her sister Antionette Reed; her children, Kevin Choate (Jill) of Austin, Lori Fisk (Mike) of Springdale and William Choate (Stella) of Tulsa; her great grandchildren, Nettie and Nora; her nephew Scott Johnson; her pets, Precious and Marnie; Jeff Pino, Brian and Caroline Campbell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Enid SPCA with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
