Leta Lavon Talley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leta Lavon Talley of Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Leta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lovingier and Josephine Lovingier (Chaney); her husband Stacy; and her sisters, Joan and Barbara.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Woods of Ringwood; her stepdaughters, Glenda Slaughter (Arriss) of Shreveport, LA. and Marilyn Rains of Jenks, OK.; and her sister Mary. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild that loved her very much. and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
