He is survived by: his mother Glenna Forbes (Swank); his wife Shirley Buchanan; his children, Andrea Scurlock (William), Paul Forbes (Chandace) and Nicole Forbes (Brian Unruh); and his brother Marty Forbes. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of friends.
