He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley VanBuskirk and Berneita Ruth VanBuskirk (Bennett); his granddaughter Madison VanBuskirk; his sister LouElla VanBuskirk; and his nephew Todd Hemphill.
He is survived by: his wife Leslye VanBuskirk (Mullikin) of Enid; his children, Chris VanBuskirk (Caity) and Maesen of Norman; and his siblings, Rosalie Evans (Bob) of Billings and Russell VanBuskirk (Marilyn) of Enid. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
