He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hobart, Sr. and Edna Marie Means (Bode); and his daughters, Suzanne Choate and Sandra Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Dennis Paine; and his children, Cindy Kerby (Ronnie), Brant Means (Deedra), Bruce Means, Andy Means (Lynn), Sally Witzke (Wayne Crump), Sara Fisher (Trey), John Streck (Shelly) and James Streck (Trish). He is also survived by 12 granddaughters and nine grandsons, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home (400 W Maple Ave, Enid, OK 73701). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM.
Memorial contribution in Rod's name may be made to the ESA Foundation to the Ramona Paine and Rod Means Scholarship Fund.
