She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hoeltzel and Sadie Hoeltzel (Fratzke); her husband Donald Wayne Bone of Paul's Lutheran Church; her brother Gerald Hoeltzel; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Hoeltzel; and her nephew Erin Logan.
She is survived by: her sister Lila Logan-Jansonius (Gary); her nieces and nephews, Mickey Hoeltzel, Roger Hoeltzel (Sherilyn), Sherry Schallner (Jay) and Lisa Roussell (Richard); and her stepdaughters, Donna Walker and Karen Burdg (Roger). She is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ladusau Evans Funeral Home (2800 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1626 E Broadway Ave, Enid, OK 73701). A burial was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
Memorial contributions may be made in Velma's name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
