She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashton Matthews and Helen Matthews (Hatch); and her brother Johnny Matthews. She is survived by: her siblings, Lloyd Matthews (Angela) of Norman and Joyce Matthews of Enid; her nieces and nephews, Heather, Lacey, Wade, Christopher, Luke and Gabriel; Virginia. She is also survived by eleven great-nieces and great-nephews, numerous cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions in Virginia's name may be made to The American Heart Association or the charity of choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
