He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Mae Mangrum and Robert Samuel Mangrum; and his brother William Jerry Mangrum. He is survived by: his son JJ Mangrum; his daughter-in-law Charlee Mangrum; his granddaughter Moody Kalkbrenner; and his siblings, Sharon Rose Ryan, Carol Penderaft, Linda Sue Hall, Carla Tremble and Robert Samuel Mangrum Jr..
