She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Burns (Urquhart) and Odie Burns; her husband Bill Dale McCoy; and her brothers, Grover Lee Burns and Clarence Wendel Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Nickie Foster (Teresa) of Oklahoma City, Kemmie Shropshire (Choya) of Pryor, LaQuita Johnston (Randy) of Eufaula and Cora Camren (Corey) of Eufaula; and her siblings, Lavanda Pence (Tom) of Hugo, Wanda Montgomery of Mellette and Michael Burns of Stidham. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
