He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Phillips and Movelda "Irene" Phillips (Gamble); his wife Jan Phillips; his siblings, Rita Purcell, Harold Phillips (Mary) and Wayne Phillips (Bonnie); his grandson Justin Phillips; and his brother-in-law David Mullins.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Fisher (Alan Jackson) of Porum, Jason Phillips (Shawna) of Eufaula and Jennifer Wheeler (Steve) of Oktaha; his siblings, Ed Phillips (Tena) of Kinta, Brenda Manley (Robert) of Checotah and Terry Phillips of Pottsboro, TX; his brother-in-law Thomas Gibson of Sherman, TX; and his pets, Barretta and Sassy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
