She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Batson and Rosie Lee Batson (Scott); her siblings, Roberta Mathis, Charles Batson, Willie Batson, Jr., Alex Batson and Gene Batson; and her sons, Lawrence Dixon, Timothy Dixon and Steve Dixon.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Ray Dixon of Eufaula, Victor Echols of Eufaula, Janice McGowan of Los Angeles and Beverly Carlis of Dallas, Texas.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory (401 N Main St, Eufaula, OK 74432). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church (244 Harrison Ave, Eufaula, OK 74432). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
