He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Edwards and Susan Edwards (Angstead); and his grandson Terry Abreo (Tra). He is survived by: his wife Millinda Edwards; his children, Prentis Morris II, Monya Carpenter (Jim) of Tulsa, James McGuire (Katie) of Rentiesville, Kristine Fowler (Johnny) of Lenna and William Edwards (Cheyenne) of Porum; his grandchildren, Kurstyn, Sophie, Jonathan, Taylynn and Cody; his great grandchildren, Henry and Madalon; and his siblings, Sherry Drum (Ed) of Reno, NV., Julie Edwards (P. K. Lambert) and Glen Edwards of Eufaula.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the King and Shearwood Funeral Home (808 E Main St, Stigler, OK 74462). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palestine Church.
