He is survived by: his wife Ellen Jean Pelis; his children, Jeannie Kay Edwards, Jessica Ward, Jamie King, Penny Karnes, Gerald Shaffer, Tim Beaty and Ajay King; his sister Sue King; his grandchildren, Tiffany Bray, Tabatha Humphreys, Matthew Chezem, Braydon Murphy, Jessica Utley, David Allen Utley, Cameron Pickett, Johnathan Hadley, Randa Edwards and Jeremy Campton; and his great grandchildren, Chris Fowler, Justin Bray, Jaydin Bray, Jeremiah Chezem, Chloe Chezem and Lucy Chezem.
