We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 93, Morgan Quincy Emerson of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Morgan Quincy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Morgan Quincy. Though Morgan Quincy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Quincy Emerson and Tabitha Olive Emerson (Thomas); and his siblings, Jerry Emerson and Ann McAdoo. He is survived by: his wife Nora Lorene Brandon; his children, Sharleen Sparks (Royce) of McAlester and Morgan Emerson (Eva) of Checotah; and his siblings, Johnny Emerson (Robin) of Broken Arrow, Betty McNeeley of Eufaula, Sue Brinsfield (Danny) of Checotah and Janice Clark (Vernie) of Checotah. He is also survived by Five grandchildren; Twelve great-grandchildren; and Ten great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory (401 N Main St, Eufaula, OK 74432). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
