Myrtie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Myrtie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Myrtie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Slay and Bernice Slay; and her husband Shurman. She is survived by: her children, Maurice Beezley (Mandi) of Eufaula, Stanley Garrison (Patty) of Tennessee, Ronald Garrison (Kyla) of Texas and Terri Garrison Southerland of Tennessee; her brothers, William Slay of Lindsey, Freddy Slay of Lindsey and Walter Jr. (Venita Slay) of Woodward, Oklahoma; Doris Jo Auld of Duncan, Oklahoma. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
