With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Batschelett of Fairfax, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charles left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Batschelett and Annie Batschelett (Kesner); his sisters, Joyce Batschelett, Jean Wilson and Joan Paslay; and his niece Sharon Early.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Winkelman; and his children, Greg Batschelett (Becky), Valorie Crumley (Mark), Michelle Brown and Ken Batschelett (Marcie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairfax City Cemetery (600 S 8th St, Chickasha, OK 73018).
