He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jack Hazen and Mary Lou Hazen; his former life partner Terry Hazen; his sons, Joe Hazen (Laura) of Edmond, OK and Jared Hazen (Candace) of Kingston, TN; his grandchildren, Madison, James, Roman, Bronson, Grayson, Oakley, Gabby, Kadi, Jeremiah, Jace, Hattie and Hudson; his half-brother Danny Hazen (Roberta); his sister-in-law Tammy West; his sister Jackie Sue Hazen; his aunt Terry; and his uncle David. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
