He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Samuel Johnston, Sr. and Sylvia Tereasa Johnston (Carpenter); his wife Sherry Ann Duggins; his sister Linda Louise Kothe; his brothers-in-law, Tommy and Joe Duggins; and his pet Rascal.

He is survived by: his children, JohnPaul and Jill; his brother Henry Johnston, Jr. (Ginger); his sister-in-law Barbara Duggins; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Louise Jordan, Hank Johnston, McKale Montgomery, Mark, James, Patrick, Stephanie, Kirk and Kerri Dawn.
