Though Faye may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Faye leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Brokaw and Stella Mae Brokaw; and her sister Doris Brokaw. She is survived by: her husband Everett "Sonny" Taffner; and her children, Bernardine Drummond (Don), Merl Taffner (Cindy), Chris Taffner and Eugene Taffner (Jennifer). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home (711 S Main St, Grove, OK 74344). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Faye graduated from Fairland High School and was a devoted member of Foundation Church.
