He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Warren and Tillie Jane Shumaker (Edwards); his adoptive mother Sue (Gene); and his wife Sue Ann May. He is survived by: his sisters, Lora Mae Larson and Ruby Faye Phipps; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Shumaker; his children, Cynthia Sue Thomure, Curtis Gene Shumaker, Jack Morgan Shumaker (Debbie), David Bruce Shumaker and Cora Ann Foster; his grandson Steven Eric Thomure (Rebekah); his great grandchildren, Javen, Titus, Ezekiel and Raven; his children, Hayden, Caleb, Lily May, Piper, Violet, Silas, Finnegan, Aubrey, Mason, Logan, Alivia, Harlow, Beckham, Boston, Briggs, Amelia, Dutton and Dawson; and his grandchild Wrenley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Assembly of God - Fairland (350 S Main St, Fairland, OK 74343). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
