He is survived by: his children, Tom Detherage Jr. (Nettie), Jay Detherage (Sadie) and Debbie May (Mark); his sister Jeanene Bushyhead; his grandchildren, Christie Jackson, Matt Detherage, Erin Detherage, Chelsea Scott, Courtney May and Katie Detherage; and his great grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Kaci Jackson, Emily Jackson, Austin Jackson, Dalton Detherage, Destry Detherage, Stockton Scott, Blazelee Scott and Maverick Scott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service (101 W Conner Ave, Fairland, OK 74343). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
