She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Schafer and Pearl Schafer (Martin); her husband Al Carey; her brother Larry Schafer; and her nephew Jason Schafer.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Carey (Sheilah) of Fairview, OK and Chad Carey of Fairview, OK; and her grandchildren, Amanda Werneke and Cole Carey. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren and other extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the Fairview M.B. Church with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 15, Fairview, OK 73737.
