He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Chase Sr. and Minnie Chase (Rade); his wives, Naomi Chase and Lillie Chase; his brother Kenneth Chase; and his stepgranddaughter Tara Miller.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Cathy Snowbarger (Steve), Dale Miller (Margie) and David Miller (Terri); his stepgrandchildren, Heather Wickersham (James), Sarah Nimmo (Ricky), Chris Miller (Ashley), Adam Miller (Mary), Lisa Miller, Lori Miller, Jason Miller (Marissa), Chad Miller (Kayla) and Jonathan Miller (Christina); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Maddie, Emily, Amy, Eloise, Weston, Colton, Wyatt, Tucker, Audra, Asher, Katelyn, Dylan, Austin and Jayden.
