It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Elden Dees in Fairview, Oklahoma, born in Sayre, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Dees and Betty Dees; and his wife Diane. He is survived by: his children, Steve Dees, Michelle Dees, Kenya Olson (Clint), Dacia Redgate (Ryan) and Rance Meier; his grandchildren, Melinda Ammerman, Michael Van Auken, Nicholas Van Auken, J. D. Van Auken, Curan Olson (Savannah), Casen Olson, Traben Redgate and Tayen Redgate; his brothers, Randy Dees (Barbara), Waymon Dees (Gail), Monty Dees (Cathie) and Bryant Dees (Janie); and his brother-in-law Larry McClure (Kathy). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made through Anderson-Burris to the Memorial Hill Cemetery Association for perpetual care of the grounds to honor his legacy of hard work and service to others.
