He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Martens and Minnie Martens. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Martens; his children, Garen Martens (Eva), LaDonna Pembrook (Lonnie) and Sharla Pinn (Mike); his grandchildren, Travis Pembrook (Beth), Jason Martens (Stephanie), Galen Martens (Ashley), Jackie Sperling (Andy) and Lily Pinn; his great grandchildren, Bret, Bryson Pembrook, Jake Martens (Sophia), Anna Martens, Drew Martens, Ethan, Carson, Ryan Marti, Harper and Alice Martens; and his grandchildren, Kate and Evan Sperling.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church (1600 E State Rd, Fairview, OK 73737).
