She is survived by: her son Benny Lee Bierig; her grandchildren, Justin Mathew and Ava Catherine; her sister-in-law Berneita Strohm; and her nieces, Linda Howerton and Rita Mitch (Terry).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Okeene Public Library.
