She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hobart McKimmey and Pearl May McKimmey (Huffman); and her husband William Carroll Simmons. She is survived by: her children, David Simmons (Debby), Annalyn Evans (Al), Alicia Trammell (Perry) and Tomm Simmons. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and the extended family she loved.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fairview Funeral Home Inc. (221 N Main St, Fairview, OK 73737). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Morgan Cemetery (739 County Rd 1120, Morgan, TX 76671).
