She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wichert and Linda Wichert (Gaede). She is survived by: her sister Marlene Young; and her brother-in-law Rev. Dwain Young. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Marlene Wichert Young Missions Scholarship or to Avant Ministers with the funeral home acting as custodians.
