He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Patterson and Martha Patterson (Pettie); his wife Carla Ann; his siblings, John, Coy, Margaret, Kristine, Tommi, Jewel and Noamie; and his grandson John Thomas.
He is survived by: his sons, Monte Patterson (Sheila) of Edmond and Roy Dale (Brenda) of Cartwright; his grandchildren, Amber Amason, Brandi Kammerer, Samantha Quimby and Zach Patterson; and his brother J. R. Patterson (Bobbi) of Duncan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
