He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie L Hess and Jewell Hess (McCarther); and his sister Merlene Byrge. He is survived by: his wife Wynona Parr; his children, Leslie Hess (Tina) of Fairview, Jennifer Smith of Fairview and Lorinda Stelzer of Enid; his grandchildren, Tyvan Hegwood, Theran Hegwood (Gene'), Jannie Watson (Skylar), Trae Stelzer (Beckey), Charlie Hess and Shasta Williams (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Hugh Hegwood, Vance Hegwood, Rowan Williams, Kenneth Stelzer and Conrad Stelzer; his sister Erline Pennington; and his half-sister Lisa Keepers.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions go to the Cedar Springs Church of the Nazarene, with the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc acting as custodians of the funds.
