He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Lacey and Patsy J. Lacey (Smith); and his brother David Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gail Reed; his daughters, Amanda Grimes (Brent) of Fletcher and April Huitt (Robert) of Faxon; his siblings, Donnie Edwards (Becky) of Donie, Ronny Edwards (Stacy) of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Patricia Sellers (Richard) of Faxon; and his grandchildren, Gauge, Lacy Grimes, Weston and Tracy Huitt.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Faxon.
