We announce the death of Louis Eugene Fox Jr. of Faxon, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Louis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Eugene Fox, Sr. and Bernice Fox (Womack). He is survived by: his wife Jean Huddelston (Wilson); his daughters, Reba, Laura, Mary and Debra; his stepchildren, James Huddelston, Jr. (Sara Huddelson) of Anchorage, Alaska and Kelly Woolfe (Terry Woolfe) of Houston, Texas; and his siblings, Thomas Fox of Huntsville, Alabama and Julia Kreidler of Pensacola, Florida.
Upon leaving the program he received the Apollo 11 Medallion for his contribution to the United States Space Program.
