He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Howard B. Coffin and Ruth B. Coffin; his wife Tomi Chinen; his siblings, Kaye Agee of Edmond and Dale; his sister-in-law Judy Coffin of Duncan, Oklahoma; his children, Howard D. Coffin (Cheri Coffin), David B. Coffin (Sonja J. Coffin) and Catherine C. Winslow (Jay Winslow); and his granddaughter Stephanie Hale (Sam Hale).
