She was predeceased by: her parents, Esaw Cheadle and Rachel Cheadle (Gordon); her husband Melvin Johnson; her son Jerry Johnson; and her siblings, Nathaniel Cheadle, Melvin Cheadle, Calvin Cheadle, Thelma Smith, Nancey Richards, Matilda Woodley, Martha Davis, Ivory Rice and Annette Lindsey.

She is survived by: her children, Carl Johnson of Fort Cobb, Loretta Allen of Fort Cobb, Kenneth Johnson of Fort Cobb, Rachel James of Fort Cobb and Robert Johnson of Fort Cobb; and her siblings, Opal Gray of Kansas City, Missouri, Carolyn Webb (Melvin), Paul Cheadle of Oklahoma City, Alfred Cheadle and Marion of Tishomingo. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
